Lesley Brown

Lesley joined the committee a year after becoming a member in 2008.

Lesley has worked as a learning support teacher since graduating with a Master of Educational Studies (Learning Support) in 2006. Lesley works in a small, inner-city Brisbane primary school, which she loves! In her school role she gets to work with students, their families and her colleagues. She loves working as a member of a team to make a positive difference in the lives of students and that no two days are exactly the same.

Lesley is passionate about the learning support role and believes that professional organisations play a vital role in advocating for students, teachers and schools. Being a LSTAQ committee member provides opportunities for her to advocate for those who support student learning.
