Have you heard of Sound Scouts?

Sound Scouts aim is “to provide an accessible hearing test solution for school aged children and adults across Australia & around the world”.

Sound Scouts have teamed up with Hearing Australia and National Acoustic Laboratories to create a free app for parents, schools and healthcare professionals to screen children’s hearing. You can download the app to any Apple or Android tablet or smart phone. All you need is a quiet space with no distractions, a couple of sets of good headphones and 10 minutes per child.

What a great resource for early hearing loss detection!
