Robyn Davey

Robyn has been a committee member since 2007. Robyn began her teaching career as an early childhood educator working in Queensland State Pre-school centres. While raising her young family Robyn completed a Grad Dip in Resource Teaching at QUT.

She then worked as a Support Teacher in primary schools for 20 years. She has undertaken the role of President of LSTAQ in 2009 and 2010 and again in 2012 and 2013.

Robyn began her teaching career in early childhood which she feels provided an understanding of child development. This knowledge contributes to her support for students in literacy and numeracy. Robyn is currently Master Teacher in a secondary school and continues to advocate for student learning.
